Violence, debauchery, disruption: the Notting Hill Carnival deserves to die

In its current form, Notting Hill Carnival – which has become an annual hotbed of violence and debauchery at great public cost – deserves to die.

It should be reformed into a self-sustaining event which appeals more to families.
